Mainframe Systems Analyst
Member of the Mainframe Measurements Team, focused on designing, implementing, and supporting SMF data collection processes in large-scale z/OS environments. I design and build automated workflows from scratch using JCL, TWS, REXX, and IBM Z Performance and Capacity Analytics (IZPCA), handling the complete lifecycle of data collection processes from job scheduling and execution to validation and structured output. These processes support multiple international clients, primarily in banking, insurance, and telecommunications, providing reliable data for reporting, capacity planning, performance analysis, and operational decision-making. My responsibilities also include monitoring, troubleshooting, process optimization, incident support, and collaboration with teams across different regions to ensure data accuracy, operational continuity, and SLA compliance.
Mainframe Systems Analyst
Worked on mainframe environments supporting both SMF data collection for z/OS and z/VM platforms and the development and maintenance of complex enterprise applications. As a COBOL developer, I supported a major telecommunications customer, working on customer billing tools and contributing to testing, troubleshooting, and daily operational routines. My activities involved COBOL application development, JCL and PROC processing, DB2 database interactions, and the analysis of batch execution and production issues. This experience provided a strong foundation in enterprise mainframe development and helped me build a deeper understanding of how applications, databases, batch workloads, and operating system processes interact in large-scale environments.
Application Developer
Started my professional career at IBM as a Mainframe Application Developer intern, gaining hands-on experience in enterprise z/OS environments. During this period, I began developing practical knowledge of mainframe concepts, batch processing, JCL, TSO, and the operational environment used by large-scale enterprise applications. The internship provided the foundation for my subsequent role at IBM and allowed me to transition into a full-time position working with COBOL development, mainframe data collection, and production support.
BSc in Computer Science

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, building a broad foundation in software development, algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, databases, and computer systems. The academic background provided the theoretical foundation that later supported my professional work with enterprise software, mainframe systems, data processing, and automation.
